1. Daily Wearing Recommendations

1. Avoid Contact with Chemicals
Please do not expose your bracelet to perfumes, cosmetics, skincare products, shampoos, hand soaps, or any items containing chemical ingredients. These substances may corrode the bead surfaces, damage the fibers of the woven cord, or affect the luster of metal accessories.

Recommendation: Remove your bracelet before applying makeup, spraying perfume, showering, or swimming.

2. Avoid Strong Impact
Although our beads are carefully selected and securely crafted, strong impact may still cause breakage, surface scratches, or displacement of the NFC chip. We recommend removing your bracelet during sports, heavy lifting, or manual labor.

3. Avoid Prolonged Sun Exposure
Extended exposure to direct sunlight may cause natural stone beads to fade, wooden beads to crack, or the woven cord to age and become brittle. Please store your bracelet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

4. Water Resistance Recommendations

  • Woven Cord Styles: Not water-resistant. Please avoid contact with water. If the bracelet gets wet, immediately pat dry with a soft dry cloth and air-dry naturally in a well-ventilated area. Do not use a hairdryer or other heat sources.

  • Elastic Cord Styles: Not water-resistant. Please avoid contact with water. Water exposure may cause the elastic cord to age and lose elasticity. Please keep it dry.

Important Reminder: Regardless of the material, the NFC chip is not waterproof. Do not submerge the bracelet in water or wear it while swimming.

2. NFC Chip Usage and Care

1. Normal Use
The NFC chip is embedded within a specific bead or pendant of the bracelet. Simply bring your phone's NFC sensing area close to that part to activate its function. Daily touching will not damage the chip.

2. Avoid Strong Magnetic Fields
Please do not place the bracelet in strong magnetic field environments for extended periods (such as near microwave ovens, induction cookers, or strong magnets), as this may interfere with the normal operation of the NFC chip.

3. Avoid Bending and Squeezing
The NFC chip is a precision electronic component. Please do not deliberately bend, squeeze, or strike the bead containing the chip to avoid physical damage.

4. Handling Malfunctions
If the NFC function malfunctions (e.g., cannot be read, slow response), please try the following steps first:

  • Confirm that NFC is enabled on your phone;

  • Adjust the phone's sensing position to ensure it is close to the bead containing the chip;

  • Restart your phone and try again.

3. Cleaning Methods

1. Daily Cleaning
Gently wipe the bead surface with a soft, dry cotton cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For deeper cleaning, you may use a slightly damp soft cloth (wring out excess moisture until no water drips) to gently wipe, then immediately dry with a dry cloth.

2. Precautions

  • Do not use alcohol, acidic, or alkaline cleaners;

  • Do not use ultrasonic cleaning machines;

  • Do not use hard brushes or abrasive materials to wipe, as they may damage the bead surface luster;

  • When cleaning, avoid the bead containing the NFC chip to prevent liquid ingress.

4. Storage Methods

1. Storage Environment
Store the bracelet in a cool, dry, and dark place, away from moisture, high temperatures, and direct sunlight. Recommended storage temperature: 15°C–25°C, relative humidity: 40%–60%.

2. Separate Storage
Please store the bracelet separately from other jewelry to avoid friction and scratches. We recommend using a soft cloth bag or a jewelry box for individual storage.

3. Extended Periods Without Wearing
If you plan not to wear the bracelet for an extended period (e.g., weeks or months), we recommend:

  • Clean and thoroughly dry it before storage;

  • Place it in a sealed bag or jewelry box with a desiccant packet (such as silica gel) to prevent moisture;

  • Take it out periodically for ventilation to avoid material deterioration caused by prolonged sealing.

Q: What should I do if my bracelet gets wet?
A: Immediately pat dry with a soft dry cloth and place it in a well-ventilated area to air-dry naturally. Do not use a hairdryer or other heat sources, as this may damage the beads or cord. If the NFC chip area gets wet, stop using it until it is completely dry before attempting to read it again.

Q: What if the cord breaks?
A: Please keep all loose beads, take photos, and contact us at contact@malagram.com. We can provide paid cord replacement services to restore your bracelet.

Q: What if the NFC chip cannot be read?
A: First, check that NFC is enabled on your phone and ensure the phone's sensing area is close to the bead containing the chip. If it still cannot be read, please contact our technical support team, and we will assist you remotely.

Q: What if the bead surface gets scratched?
A: Minor scratches can be partially diminished by gently wiping with a soft cloth dipped in a small amount of olive oil (for wooden beads) or using a specialized polishing cloth (for stone and metal beads). For severe damage, please contact us for a repair assessment.

Q: Can I wear the bracelet while showering or swimming?
A: No. The NFC chip is not waterproof, and chemicals in water may damage the beads and cord. Please remove the bracelet before showering or swimming.

7. Recommended Care Tools

To facilitate daily maintenance, we recommend preparing the following tools:

  • A soft cotton or suede cloth (for daily wiping)

  • A jewelry box or soft cloth bag (for storage)

8. Warranty and Repair Services

1. Warranty Coverage
Under normal use conditions, we provide a 90-day quality warranty for product damage caused by material or craftsmanship defects. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, accidental damage, negligence, or normal wear and tear.

2. Repair Services

3. Cord Replacement Service
